Holidivas
A cabaret showcasing a mix of holiday classics and new works. Produced at Zeider's American Dream Theater December of 2021.
The director's concept was mid-century Hollywood glamor. I started by sending him a selection of palettes. He chose #7, and #4 was kept as a secondary option, as it incorporated similar hues at different levels of shade and saturation.
Next, a selection of dresses were ordered. Because of the very short turnaround, this involved ordering various sizes, as well as backup styles in various sizes. If the first round didn't fit, there wouldn't be time for more to be shipped.
The final results were similar to the original design, with a few dresses getting swapped out based on fit, color and style.
